Each product is scored from its own label
Daphne reads the ingredient list and nutrition facts for every product at your store and turns them into a score out of 100.

Building the list
You say who’s eating. Daphne works out how much to buy.
A kid counts as 0.6 of an adult serving, so two adults and a kid come to 2.6 servings a dinner.
Every line on the list shows the math behind its amount. If 26 oz of chicken looks like a lot, you can see exactly where it came from.
The total stays in view against your weekly budget while the list fills in.

Questions people ask
Which stores does Daphne work with?
Kroger and its family of stores, including Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Harris Teeter, Smith’s and Fry’s. You pick your store, and every product and price on your list comes from that store.
What will it cost?
There’s a free plan with one list and 15 adds a week. Premium is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial, and adds unlimited lists, pantry tracking, your own recipes, and extras for parties, company and snacks. Allergen screening, exporting or deleting your data, and Stretch it are always free. During the pilot, everything is free.
How is the clean score worked out?
From each product’s own ingredient list and nutrition facts. How processed it is (its NOVA group) counts for 60%, and its Nutri-Score counts for 40%. You can see the inputs behind every score.
Can I trust it with food allergies?
Daphne screens the allergen information, ingredient list and name of every product, and keeps anything that lists your allergens off your list. When a listing has nothing to screen, it says “Check label.” It can’t see cross-contact or recipe changes, so always read the package. More on allergies
